FUMC Social Hall
FUMC Social Hall, Clermont, Florida. The project is a two-story social hall with 36,733 SF with a partial basement. The building is a pre-engineered metal building with exterior precast concrete wall panels. There is a flat roof area framed with steel joists and steel beams supported by steel columns and precast concrete wall panels. The foundation is concrete monolithic slab foundations except at the basement and the retaining walls which are concrete spread footings.
LDS Key West
LDS Key West, Key West, Florida. The project consists of an elevated 5,500 SF single-story worship space and classrooms. The finish floor elevation must be four to five feet above grade. The structural system will be pre-manufactured wood roof trusses supported by perimeter precast concrete premanufactured wall panels. The precast concrete wall panels will be supported by an elevated reinforced concrete structure that conforms to the Key West and FEMA Building Standards. The design wind speed is 150 mph. The construction cost is estimated to be $2 million.
LDS Riverside
LDS Riverside, Miami, Florida. The project is an 11,620 SF two-story meeting house. The structural system is perimeter precast concrete walls, hollow core floor slab with concrete topping, pre-manufactured metal roof trusses and metal roof deck.
FUMC Children’s Home Bell Cottages
FUMC Children’s Home Bell Cottages, Enterprise, Florida. The project includes two (2) identical one-story cottage buildings with an area of 4,970 SF each. The total area for both building is 9,940 SF. The structural system is pre-manufactured wood roof trusses supported by perimeter precast concrete pre-manufactured wall panels and interior steel columns.
Resurrection Catholic Church
Resurrection Catholic Church, Winter Garden, Florida. The project is a 15,451 SF addition to an existing 9,520 SF building. The addition includes a multi-purpose parish hall with a stage, meeting rooms, restrooms and storage rooms. The new total area will be 24,971 SF. The building is a pre-engineered metal building with precast concrete wall panels. There is a flat roof area framed with steel joists and steel beams supported by steel columns. The foundation is concrete monolithic slab foundations except at interior columns which are concrete spread footings.
Tabernacle de la Fe
Tabernacle de la Fe, The project is single story church with approximately 18,000 SF. The structural system is reinforced masonry and structural steel long span steel joists and wood trusses. The foundations are concrete spread footings.
Greek Holy Trinity Building Expansion
Greek Holy Trinity Building Expansion, Maitland, Florida. The project is a single story renovation and expansion of an existing building. The total area when complete will be 19,792 SF. The structural system is steel roof joists, metal roof deck, steel columns and 8″ masonry bearing walls. The foundation is concrete spread footings.
Central Church of the Nazarene PD
Central Church of the Nazarene PD – Phase I Multi-Purpose Building, Orlando, Florida. This project includes a single story building with approximately 50,000 SF and an attached 1,400 SF canopy. The building has a roof with multiple levels requiring transfer beams and three framing levels. The new foundations will be spread concrete foundation. The exterior wall will be either 8″ or 12″ load bearing reinforced masonry. The roof framing is steel joists supporting metal roof deck.
Tavares United Methodist Church
Tavares United Methodist Church, Tavares, Florida. A new church sanctuary and other facilities totaling 18,000 square feet. The project included a small mezzanine, a campanile tower and a covered drop-off area.
Wekiva Presbyterian
Wekiva Presbyterian – Classroom Facility, Orlando, Florida. A two-story 13,600 SF expansion of an existing classroom facility. The new construction required a four-hour wall at the existing sanctuary and coordination with the existing two-story classroom building. The new structure is mostly structural steel with some load bearing masonry supported by concrete spread footings.
